Spark for macOS
There’s no shortage of email
apps to choose from on the
Mac, and with Apple’s own mail
app getting a decent upgrade
in Catalina, you might wonder why you’d
bother with anything else. Well, in Spark’s
case, the answer is productivity.
Whether it’s customising smart inboxes to
surface important messages, collaborating on
a draft message with a team, delegating
messages, or using actions to move them,
Spark has a ton of features to help.
Spark is also available on iOS and iPadOS,
so you can sync messages with your iPhone
and iPad. Spark also allows you to create
template messages so that if you have
emails you send regularly, you don’t have
to write them from scratch each time. It
has a customisable Gmail-style Quick Reply
feature, and you can add smart folders to filter
incoming email. Spark is free to download and
use, but if you need to collaborate with more
than a couple of people, there’s a premium
upgrade designed for teams. Kenny Hemphill
