Add a calendar
You can add Google, Exchange, or iCloud
calendars. In Prefs, choose Accounts and then
the account for which you want to enable the
calendar. Use the Calendars tab to set a default
calendar and customise how it is displayed.
4
Schedule a message
Start writing an email. When ready, click
the Send icon with a clock on it. Choose from
the suggestions, or manually set a date and
time. Press Set Time, then close the message.
You can customise suggestions in Preferences.
5
Create a template
Go to Prefs and choose Templates. Click +
and choose from the menu. Give the template
a name and fill it in, using the ABC button to
add placeholders. To use a template, start a
message and click the templates button.
6
Share drafts
In a message window, click the head-and-
shoulders icon at the top right and choose a
team, then a contact. After agreeing to
collaborate, they will be able to see the
draft and chat to you in real time about it.
7
Delegate an email
First create a team and add members.
Open the email message you want to delegate,
click Delegate, choose a team then start typing
a colleague’s name. Add a comment, set a due
date and time if necessary, then click Delegate.
8
Send to other apps
In Preferences, choose Services, then add
a service. Authorise it if requested. To send an
email to another app, click the More icon at the
top right and choose the app. Choose whether
to send the email or a link to it. Click Save.
Genius tip!
When you delegate
a message, you can
use the mute option
to ensure you’re
not disturbed by
notifications for
the conversation.
Jargon buster
Services are other
apps installed on your
Mac that can connect
with Spark. For example,
you can create a to do
in Things by forwarding
a message.
