FISU AMERICA
It is a great honour for us, to be part of the EUSA magazine,
which is hard proof of our mutual involvement and cooperation
throughout the years. Greetings from FISU AMERICA to all
of you, the university sports community, behind the pages!We are the organization
of university sports on the
continent of America, which has
celebrated its 15th anniversary
this year, and we know we have
a lot more to go!The organisation is led by Alim
Maluf Neto from Brazil, with a
board of 9 people from all over
the continent.We bring together 28 NUSFs off
the continent, from the North
to the South, and in these 15
years, we’ve become become a
very active organization whose
main objective is to promote
university sports in every
corner of the continent, trying
to equalize the development
despite the differences between
countries and cultures.In 2023, we had a very busy
calendar, not only with our own
events but also being involved
in worldwide events organized
by FISU, such as the Winter
and Summer World University
Games and having the honour
of receiving the world in Lake
Placid, a part of our continent.
In both cases, we encourage
our NUSF to participate and
cooperate with them not only in
