EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES

ORIENTEERING CHAMPIONSHIPS

ST GALLEN, SWITZERLAND

AUGUST 24-27, 2023

At the second edition of the European Universities

Orienteering Championship, 17 European countries were

represented, competing in Eastern Switzerland. Around 200

athletes and 18 officials from 66 univeristies were welcomed

to the championships, which took place in 3 beautiful and

picturesque locations across Eastern Switzerland: the city of

St. Gallen, the town of Hirschberg and the city of Appenzell.

The competition was organised

by University of St. Gallen

and Swiss University Sports

with the contribution of Swiss

Orienteering, OLG St.Gallen/

Appenzell, OL Regio Wil, ASVZ

and others. At the championship,

EUSA was represented by

Matjaz Pecovnik, as SCAC Chair,

the Technical Delegate Dusan

Vystavel, and Eszter Gulyas,

EUSA representative.
