Deferment of 2024 Summer Taxes
For eligible taxpayers who are totally and permanently disabled, blind, paraplegic, hemiplegic, quad-
riplegic, eligible serviceperson, veterans, widows or widowers, or those who are 62 years of age
or older. To qualify, taxpayers must certify that the property is their principal residence and their
household income for the preceding calendar year did not exceed $40,000.

Forms are available at the above city or township office for eligible residents who wish to defer their
summer tax payment until February 14, 2025. Application for Deferment of Summer Taxes must
be filed with the local Treasurer on or before September 16, 2024.

Meeting called to order at 7:00pm at
the Township Hall. Present: Supervisor
Radcliff, Clerk Aldrich, Treasurer Ir-
ving, Trustee Eyre, and Trustee Westphal.
Agenda approved as modified. Minutes of
May 14, 2024, and May 23, 2024 approved
as submitted. Public Hearing was held on
the proposed 2024-2025 Newton Town-
ship Budget. Treasurer’s report accepted
and put on file. Approved payment of late
arriving invoices. Approved 2024-2025
Newton Township Budget. Approved
AT&T Metro Act Right of Way Permit
Extension. Approved contract with Dam-
ron Bros to reseal the parking lot. Ap-
proved Resolution Authorizing Revoca-
tion and Release of Restrictive Covenants.
Adjourned at 8:05pm.
