when the Ladies Interclub group
played a 2024 tour stop at The
Medalist Golf Club in Marshall on
July 22.

Golfers excel at Ladies Interclub event

Players from around the state
and the region made their way to
the Cereal City last week to com-
pete in the Michigan Shuffleboard
Association’s State Tournament,
which took place on the courts locat-
ed near the front entrance to Battle
Creek’s Bailey Park.
It marked the 10th straight year that
the tourney was hosted by the Battle
Creek Shuffleboard Club.
The tournament schedule had
Amateur Men’s/Ladies’ Singles tak-
ing place on July 29; Amateur M/L
Doubles on July 30; Unrestricted
(amateur and/or professional) M/L
Singles on July 31; and Unrestricted
M/L Doubles on Aug. 1.
Top results from the tourney will
appear in a future edition, once they
are provided by MSA officials.

State shuffleboard tourney graces B.C. courts
Club invites experienced and new
players to join in for drop-in play on
the Bailey Park courts every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday morning start-
ing at 10 a.m.; and/or to take part
in tournaments that will continue
through the month of August.
