Lindsey, 44, of
Battle Creek,
Mich., passed
away Sunday,
Sept. 15,- He was
born Feb. 28,
1980, in San
Bernardino,
Calif., where
he spent most of his life. Doug was
the son of David Jay and Deborah
Jean (Prince) Lindsey.
Doug married Nicole Fruehauf in
Sherwood, Mich., on Aug. 4, 2018.
He owned and operated Mountain
Top Installation Company the major-
ity of his life, working side by side
with his dad. Doug was the cur-
rent president of the Battle Creek
Motorcycle Club. Doug was a fam-
ily man first and foremost. What he
loved to do most was spend time
and be there for his family. As a
father, husband, son, brother and
friend, he embodied the qualities
of a loving and supportive family
member in every way. He loved his
children and wife immensely.
Doug also had many hobbies,
which included riding dirt bikes as
much as he possibly could, going
on Harley rides on beautiful sum-
mer days, wrenching on cars, and
riding his mountain bike. Doug was
a true outdoorsman and enjoyed
going camping in their newly remod-
eled trailer. Despite all of these
hobbies, his dedication to his fam-
ily was evident in the way he bal-
anced his demanding roles with his
personal life, always prioritizing his
loved ones. Doug was an extremely
loyal person and valued people,
which led to long-lasting friendships
regardless of distance.
Doug and his dad put their blood,
sweat and tears into their family
owned and operated window cover-
ing business. Doug was proud and
grateful to have a dad that he could
learn from, work with, and eventu-
ally take over the business. Doug
knew what it meant to sacrifice to
have something of his own and to
work hard to make it successful. He
was able to instill all of these traits
and work ethic into his girls. His
sacrifices and work ethic ensured
his family had everything they need-
ed and more.Doug was known for his kind-
ness, his willingness to lend a help-
ing hand, and his ability to inspire
those around him. He was the most
giving person and would always
be there to help anybody at any
given moment. He would give the
shirt off of his back if somebody
else needed it, with absolutely no
expectations, which was one of the
traits that made him such a genuine
person.
As the president of the Battle
Creek Motorcycle Club for the
past 11 years, Doug was a pillar
of strength, dedication and leader-
ship, leaving a profound impact on
AMA District 14 and beyond. Doug
was not just a leader; he was a role
model for commitment and passion
for the sport. Under his lead, BCMC
thrived. His deep understanding
and attention to detail allowed him
to navigate challenges and imple-
ment solutions that benefited riders
and spectators alike. Doug’s pres-
ence at these events was more
than administrative; it was personal.
He knew the names and stories of
the racers, and his enthusiasm and
encouragement were a source ofinspiration for many. Doug’s legacy
will be remembered through the
countless lives he touched and the
positive changes he brought to the
community.
Doug is survived by his wife,
Nicole Lindsey; and his three chil-
dren, Kirsten, Kylee and Bryanna
Lindsey; his father, Dave Lindsey;
sister and brother-in-law Dana and
David Holmes; his nieces, Brittany
and Hope; father- and mother-in-
law Jeff and Jami Fruehauf; as well
as a sister-in-law, Hannah Jenkins;
paternal grandfather Gary “Pops”
Lindsey; and bonus grandparents
Jim and Janet Hagelgans; Uncle
Dan Lindsey; and cousins Thomas
and DJ.
Doug was preceded in death
by his paternal grandmother,
Betty “Nanny” Lindsey; his son,
Christopher Lindsey; as well as
mother Deb Lindsey.

11, 1953, to
the union of
James and
Inez Estes in
Tiptonville,
Tenn. Although
born in
Tiptonville,
Diane spent
her early years as a child in
Hickman, Ky., moving to Battle
Creek as a teenager.
Diane graduated from Battle
Creek Central High School in
- She later attended Kellogg
Community College in their cleri-
cal program. Diane was employed
by the former St. Regis Paper
Company for many years before
being forced into retirement due to a
work injury.
Diane joined Mr. Kenneth Osborne
in the union of marriage on July 31, - They would often be seen
riding around town together on his
“Cadillac” scooter with her either on
the back or sitting in his lap.
Diane was the proud mother of
one child, Dewand Mosette Wheat
Estes. Everyone would agree that
it was for her son that Diane lived.
Even though he was her only child,
he gave her the privilege of being
the grandmother of 10 grandchil-
dren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her husband,
Kennethe Osborne of Battle Creek,
Mich.; her son, Dewand Estes
(Chista) of Union City, Tenn.; sisters
Narsis (Kenneth) Colen and Loretta
Howlett of Battle Creek, Mich.;
Ella Mae (Ocie B) Smith, Janice
Kay (Carl Lee) Gibert, Vanessa
(June) Jones of Hickman Ky.,
Helen (Tony) Mayes of Union City,
Tenn., Janiece Felder of Hammond,
Ind.; and brother Calvin Arthur of
Nebraska; uncle John Willis Sr. of
Battle Creek, Mich.
Diane was preceded in death
by her mother, Inez Estes; father
James Estes; brother James Ivey
Estes; paternal grandparents Frank
and Amanda Finner; maternal
grandparents Leora and Willie
James.
Services for Diane have already
taken place and she is interred at
Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Patricia is survived by her four

Jake Odette; grandchildren Taz,
Eli, Justice, Aiden, Jedd, Zoey,
Victoria, Chase, Kimberly, Sophia
and Abigail; bonus daughter Ashley
(George Clawson) Fox; adopted
grandsons Noah, Logan; sisters
Tammy Rapp, Connie Feltner; broth-
ers Brian (Sharon) Nelson, Shawn
(Faith) Nelson; plus many nieces
and nephews; her mother, Hazel
Neal; stepmother Pam Nelson;
adopted sister Brenda Smith; grand-
son Austin Brown; and best friends
Melissa Moores, Michelle (Tracy)
BarlondSmith.Patricia enjoyed playing bingo,
camping and fishing. She loved
beating everyone playing cards and
penny antes. She loved to snack
on watermelon, chips and most of
all Reese’s. She worked at Big Boy
and Michigan Road House as a
cook. However, she was mostly a
stay-at-home mom. She loved going
over the road with her late husband,
and watching “The Walking Dead.”
She joined her late husband,
Jesse Odette Jr.; son-in-law Justin
Ash; niece Tiffany Stevenson;
adopted grandson PJ Cranick; her
grandparents; and her father, Fred
Nelson, all in heaven.
Visitation was held Wednesday,
September 25, 2024, from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m., with the funeral service
following at 1 p.m.
She was laid to rest at Rice Creek
Cemetery in Marshall following the
service.
A dinner was provided at 190
