In the 5th month (June/July) of 671, envoys from Tokharia offered
regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5026).
In the 5th month (May/June) of 681, envoys from Tokharia pre-
sented horses and regional objects. In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 682)
of the same Chinese year 681, envoys presented a golden garment.
Emperor Kao-tsung rejected it (Chiu T’ang shu 5:10b; Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5026).
Between 713 and 756, Tokharia frequently presented horses, mules,
200 varieties of drugs, jade, and glass (Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 339:55b).
In the 4th month (Apr./May) of 719, envoys from a high official
in Tokharia offered gifts. In the 6th month (June/July), envoys from
the king of Tokharia brought a letter and presented an astronomer/
astrologer. There was nothing this man did not know (Ts’e-fu yüan-
kuei p.5027).
In the 6th month (July/Aug.) of 720, Tokharia presented fine
horses, big mules, and foreign drugs (T’ang hui-yao 99:16b; Ts’e-fu
yüan-kuei p.5027).
In the 7th month (July/Aug.) of 724, envoys from Tokharia pre-
sented 300 kinds of drugs (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 11th month (Nov./Dec.) of 726, envoys from Tokharia were
received at the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 7th month (July/Aug.) of 729, envoys from Tokharia pre-
sented a variety of drugs (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 5th month (May/June) of 730, a missions from Tokharia,
including a Buddhist priest, presented red pears, green pears, baroos
camphor, gold essence, and chih-han(citragandha) and other drugs
(T’ang hui-yao 99:16b; Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 9th month (Sep./Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5Oct.) of 735, envoys from
Tokharia offered regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5029).
In the 1st month (Jan./Feb.) of 738, a chief from Tokharia offered
regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5029).
In the 7th month (Aug./Sep.) of 744, envoys from Tokharia pre-
sented horses and valuables (030).
In the 3rd month (Apr./May) of 745, envoys from Tokharia offered
regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 4th month (Apr./May) of 749, envoys from Tokharia pre-
sented horses (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
