1162 as king of Hai-ling. In the 1st month (February) of 1150, he sent
the Commander-in-chief of the Imperial Body Guards and others to
inform Hsia. On Aug.18, a high-ranking Hsia envoy to the Chin court
congratulated the Dismissed Emperor on his enthronement (Chin shih
5:2b`-4a, 5a; 134:4a).
On Jan.20, 1151, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.4, they congratulated on the birthday of
the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:6a).
In the 9th month (Oct./Nov.) of 1151, the Dismissed Emperor
of Chin appointed an envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his
birthday (Chin shih 5:7b).
On Feb.8, 1152, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.23, they congratulated on the birthday of
the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:7b, 8a).
In the 9th month (Sep./Oct.) of 1152, the Dismissed Emperor
appointed a Gentleman-of-the-Palace of the Ministry of Personnel as
envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on his birthday (Chin shih 5:8b).
On the New Year’s Day of Jan.27, 1153, the Dismissed Emperor
did not hold court. He ordered his high officials to accept the New
Year gifts of the Hsia envoys and others (Chin shih 5:9a).
On Feb.11, 1153, Hsia envoys to the Chin court congratulated on
the birthday of the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:9a).
On Sep.20, 1153, the Dismissed Emperor appointed an Attendant
of the Han-lin Academy as envoy to congratulate the Hsia ruler on
his birthday (Chin shih 5:10a).
On the New Year’s Day of Feb.14, 1154, the Dismissed Emperor
was unwell. The Hsia envoys and others took up lodgings in Yen-
ching (Chin shih 5:11a).^40
On Feb.4, 1155, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.19, they congratulated on the birthday of
the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:12a).
On Jan.24, 1156, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.8, they congratulated on the birthday of
the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:14a).
On Feb.12, 1157, the New Year’s Day, Hsia envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.27, they congratulated on the birthday of
the Dismissed Emperor (Chin shih 5:15a, 15b).

Feb.25, 1153 (Chin shih 5:9a).
