One of the combat sports, Judo,
where techniques are generally
intended to turn an opponent’s
force to one’s own advantage
rather than to oppose it directly,
has been part of the European
Universities Games in Debrecen
and Miskolc.
The Judo competitors had
the chance to compete in
Miskolc from 11th to 13th of July,
showcasing courtesy in practice,
promoting calm, readiness,
confidence and fair play during
all the matches.
Competing single and teams in
both men and women categories,
they all had their chance to give
their best and earn a medal. The
athletes came from different
corners of Europe, competing
in the same high standard,
within their own category,
having the collective points from
all represented universities,
producing the winner of the team
competition.

138 universities in 21 countries.
