Molecular and Structural Biology at the
Institute of Molecular Biology and Biophysics
(www.mol.biol.ethz.ch).
→ We are looking for researchers who
investigate the structure and mechanism of
biological macromolecules, molecular assem-
blies or cellular machineries using diverse
structural, biochemical, biophysical or compu-
tational techniques. Successful candidates are
expected to establish and lead a competitive
research team, commit to teaching at the
Department of Biology, and to contribute to
the interactive, scientific environment at ETH
Zurich.
Assistant professorships have been established
to promote the careers of younger scientists.
The initial appointment is for four years with
the possibility of renewal for a three-year
period.
