For the first time ever, in March the Whisky
Magazine Awards 2020 were announceddigitally. Usually presented at a gala dinner
in London, our annual Awards event is anopportunity for the global whisky industry
to come together in celebration, raise adram to the achievements of the past year,
and toast the successes to come.Though this year we were unable to meet in
person and share the evening’s excitementwith our readers, we certainly won’t let that
stop us from sharing a dram or dusting offour bow ties! To this end, we will be releasing
an appropriately dressed limited editionsingle malt Scotch whisky that celebrates
the partnership between The Glenturretand the Whisky Magazine Awards. More
than that, it honours the dedication of allthe hard-working men and women across
the whole industry – the very people ourAwards recognise each year.
