- Add another filter effect. First, right-click the white filter mask
in front of the words Smart Filters in the Layers panel and
choose Delete Filter Mask to help reduce clutter. Then, choose
Filter→Blur→Gaussian Blur. In the Gaussian Blur dialog box,
set the Radius to 2.0 and click OK. Now the noisy garbage is
out of focus, as you can see in Figure 7-43.

Create a Levels adjustment layer. Choose Layer→New Adjust-
ment Layer→Levels. Name the new layer “Stars” and click OK.
