(Laikrodžių muziejus) was
opened in 1984 inside a
villa built in 1820 by John

The pleasant courtyard,
featuring a large sundial, is
a popular venue for music,
dance and poetry evenings.
The house next door was
built by another English
merchant, Mae Lean. In 1905,
it was reconstructed in Art
Nouveau style. The Neo-
Gothic post office located
close by is another striking
