large advertising contracts the last thing they worried about was
paying a few extra pounds to the caterer. They needed reliability
and a little controlled “wow factor”.
A few leaflet drops followed and some sweet talking to the
clients enabled us to expand and grow this part of the business
very quickly. We made a few simple (and inexpensive) changes
to the inside of the shop to facilitate this new business and by
the end of the year had added £40K to the bottom line. One
particular contract used to provide us with approximately £10K
of net profit in the run up to Christmas alone.
