WHAT ITEM CAN’T
I LIVE WITHOUT?
I always carry a lock of hair
collected from each of the direc-
tors I’ve worked with.
WHAT DO I CONSIDER AN
INDULGENCE?
Mead in the morning.
NEXT PIECE OF GEAR?
One day I’d like to get a camera
and a laptop computer.
THE THOUGHT PROCESS
BEHIND THE GREEN KNIGHT?
It was a blast to play in this
world, a place where magic
exists, and that opened up a lot
of creativity since we were not
restricted to reality. And being
very close to all of our key col-
laborators, having done
A Ghost Story and some TV
together, it was a selfless and
fruitful process of sharing and
giving. Although, I have to ad-
mit, at first I was pretty scared
to work with a mythical being
like the Green Knight, but then
we met and he was professional
and pretty chill. So that was a
relief.
WHAT ITEMS WERE
IMPORTANT FOR THIS
SHOOT?
I found a pretty influential
spell book that David and I
got hooked on.
HOW DID LOWERY AND I
SETTLE ON A PARTICULAR
CAMERA PACKAGE?
At first, David couldn’t decide
between oil paints or watercolor
paints, but ultimately we felt oil
was more period appropriate. MM
