he sequel to the
unexpected Xbox One
gem is still on track for
a 2019 release, and Ori
has got some new tricks
up his/her/its sleeve. Aside from a
new story about a lost child that Ori
helps reunite with its mother, there
will be a huge new map to explore with
our favourite flipping forest spirit.
As you explore this map, you’ll come
across Spirit Trials. Activate one and
you’ll be whisked off to a new location
that’s built for one thing – speed. Your
goal is to reach the finish as fast as
possible, before the ghosts of other
players racing alongside you.
Thomas Mahler, CEO of Moon
Studios, recently teased that the
studio would soon “surprise the whole
industry”. Yes, that is incredibly vague.
Is it a new level? Or is this Ori sequel
being reworked into a gritty, realistic
crime drama featuring guns and bullet
time? Only time will tell. But if it’s that
second thing, we totally called it. Q

The New Colossus, we had a hell
of a good time slaughtering nasty
Nazis in the ’60s alternate
timeline, but Youngblood is set 19 years later
in 1980s Paris still occupied by the Third
Reich. This time, though, you’ll be playing as
BJ’s twin daughters, kicking Nazi ass and
searching for their missing dad, with all the
weaponry at their disposal. As such it’s
playable single player or two-player co-
operatively, and we’ll bring you more news
as we have it!

fantasy franchise is going action-RPG in 2019.

Playable either solo, or co-operatively, local

couch co-op or online, there will be four

playable characters – though so far only a

tank-type heavily armoured warrior and a

Dwarf character class have been teased. We’ll

bring you more news, but we’re getting an

excited sort ofGauntletvibe from this one,

which can only be a good thing.
