WWhat’s math have to do with genetics? Well, you’re about to find out.
You’ll research basic genetics and learn how to use a Punnett Square. Then
you’ll create sample genes for pet traits. You’ll make predictions based on
the pets’ traits to determine the traits of their offspring. Put on your lab coat
and grab your math tool kit to begin this adventure.

What You’ll Do
Use the Internet to research the Punnett Square and its role in genetics.
Then you will use what you learned to practice problems involving a
Punnett Square. Next you will collect and record some specifi c information
about pets. Finally, you will analyze and calculate different statistics based
on your data.
