COACH: Forensics refers to debate or argumentation,
but as we define it for national competition, it includes
about a dozen kinds of speech activities—radio
announcing, debate, comedy, original oratory, extempo-
raneous speaking—you name it and we probably do it.

COACH: During a sign-up period early in the school
year, we accept any student willing to work. We select
areas most suitable to individual students and then
begin gathering materials.
