1 st EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

The 1st European University Tennis Championship took place
in Touques near Deauville, France from December 13 to 17,

2004. The French University Sports Federation and the Or-
      ganising Committee welcomed students from 14 university
      teams at the championship. In the men’s finals, the local Uni-
      versity of Rouen won against the Joseph Fourier University
      Grenoble 3:0, while in the women’s finals the Russian State
      University of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism won
      against the French Metz Paul Verlaine University 2:0.
