  1. (D) Gardner, Sternberg, and a host of other contemporary intelligence researchers believe that
    schools focus too much on traditional subjects and methods. Gardner has proposed that people
    have multiple abilities that ought to be considered intelligences, including bodily-kinesthetic
    intelligence, musical intelligence, and interpersonal intelligence. Sternberg believes schools
    should encourage students’ creative and practical abilities as well as their analytical ones.
