A two-sentence conclusion is just fine. (A one-sentence conclusion is also fine, if that is all you have time for.)
She does everything she needs to do, except for add a concluding thought. She did have that extra thought at
the end of the third paragraph, so I’m okay with the conclusion.
Where this essay is strong (the intro and body paragraph #2) it’s strong, and when it’s weak (body paragraph
#1) it’s weak, but overall it’s going to get a score in the 10-12 range.
Don’t let the essay discourage you. You are now a grammar whiz, so you know you’ve got that covered, and
you now know the formula to follow to get a decent score on the essay. Prep those examples, practice on your
own, and impress those readers with your solid skill!
