A Letter of Intent is a contract that binds you to compete for the insti-
tution and binds them, for one year, to the level of financial aid stated
on it as long as the prospect fulfills the obligations cited in the contin-
gency section. Sign the Letter of Intent at the same time that you sign
the Athletic Tender, otherwise you lose all negotiating leverage.

Athletic Aid Agreement: Expected Behavior; Practices and Games
This is to say that Joe S. Athlete will be awarded as much as $2000.00 in athletic
aid for the year of 2012–2013 ***
Awards are contingent of the following:- Attendance at all practices.
- Attendance at all games.
- Maintaining academic eligibility and full-time student status.
- Appropriate conduct to avoid being dismissed from the athletic team.
- Completion of all required financial aid applications on a timely basis.
- Official acceptance by the College of Admissions Department.
- Other: Exceptions to numbers 1 and 2 will be determined by the coach: for
example, illness or extenuating circumstances. Also, do not sign this contract
unless you have received acceptance by the College of Admissions Department.
Please notify the Athletic Department if you have not yet been accepted.
Pledge: I understand that I must fulfill the above obligation and any infraction
could lead to a loss of my athletic aid for one or all semesters.___ _
