Grouping treats content like a single object, which makes it easier to move the currently
selected artwork. You’ll group other content you create going forward for the same reason.- Choose Select > Deselect.
Working with rounded corners
Next, you’ll explore rounding the corners of a rectangle using the Transform panel, by creating a
shape for the mast of a boat.1. Choose View > Zoom Out.
2. Select the Rectangle tool ( ) in the Tools panel.
3. Click in a blank area of the artboard to the right of the red X. In the Rectangle dialog box that
appears, enter a width of 0.2 inches and a height of 1.5 inches. Click OK.
