For most of the drawing tools, you can either draw with the tool or click to create a shape of a

specific size.

4. In the Properties panel to the right, make sure Constrain Width And Height Proportions to the
   right of Width (W:) and Height (H:) is deselected (it looks like this: ). Select the Width (W:)
   value and change it to 0.1. Click in the Height (H:) field, and change the value to 1. Press
   Return or Enter. Leave the shape selected.

Typing in for inches isn’t necessary; it is added automatically.
