5. Drag across the window shapes to select them.

Tip

To group selected content, you can also click the Group button in the Quick Actions

section of the Properties panel.

Cutting with the Knife tool

You can also use the Knife tool ( ) to cut a shape. Using the Knife tool, you drag across a

shape, and instead of creating open paths, you end up with closed paths.
