Adobe Illustrator CC Classroom in a Book (2019 Release), First Edition

1. Choose 3 Tank from the Artboard Navigation menu in the lower-left corner of the Document
   window.

An example of what you will create is labeled “Final” on the right side of the artboard. You

will work with the artwork labeled “Start” on the left.

   Choose View > Fit Artboard In Window.

   With the Selection tool ( ) selected, click the pink oval shape under the artwork labeled
   “Start.”

   
   

If an object is selected, the Knife tool will only cut that object. If nothing is selected, it will cut

any vector objects

it touches.

Note

You can select multiple vector objects and cut them at one time with the Knife tool.
