there’s only so much a guy in love can take. Whereas
the man who isn’t in love can take repeated
rejection and hurt with no problem.
Justin wasn’t in love with Kate. He didn’t have a
real connection with her either. It was evident by the
fact that he wasn’t willing to do what was necessary
to change his behavior. If you want to argue and say
that he must’ve loved her because he kept coming
back, then why wouldn’t he act right? Why
wouldn’t he do right by her? Why wouldn’t he learn
how to communicate properly? Why wouldn’t he
figure out how to address his past issues? Why
wouldn’t he confront his fear of commitment? Why
wouldn’t he want to deal with whatever got in the
way of being the best man he could be for her and
making her happy?
Another reason why a man will keep coming back
is out of convenience. Kate, like so many other
women made it easy for Justin to come in and out
of the relationship, like a revolving door. When you
let him go, it’s your job to not let him back in. It’s
your job to keep shutting him down every time he
