Dietary Changes for Common Health Concerns


It’s clear that everyone is different. Can the Perfect 10 Diet be adapted if you
have a specific health issue? Absolutely. We can even break some rules for
specific health concerns. These are the dietary changes I recommend to people
who consult me for the following health conditions and illnesses.


Allergy
• Eliminate milk products and gluten completely to see if you’re allergic.
• Limit animal protein and replace with more plant protein sources, such as
mushrooms, beans, and non–genetically modified soy.


Anemia (Due to Iron Deficiency)
• Increase red meat to more than once every 3 weeks.
• Eat more beans and green leafy vegetables.


Asthma
• Eliminate dairy products completely from your diet.
• Eat ginger and turmeric regularly for their anti-inflammatory effects.


Atherosclerosis
• Drink pomegranate juice (it can really reverse atherosclerosis).
• Have melon extract regularly (in a pill form or as juice).
• Take fish oil regularly.


Body Odor
• Eat more protein from plant sources and less from animal sources.
• Avoid caffeine.
