program through approximately chapter 11 of this book. It may be
available at your local library. Ask your husband to watch it. But
there’s a catch. You can’t be in the room with him, because you may
have a tendency to say, “See, this is what you need to be doing.” That
will turn him off for sure. If he’s willing to cooperate after he watches
the DVD, get started and later add Parenting Jobs 2 and 3 (purple
DVD, More 1-2-3 Magic, or chapters 12– 24 of this book). Using 1-2-
3 Magic with the kids is good for marriages!
