In our experience, a good Meal 1 focused
on satisfying protein and fat and nutrient-
dense veggies (and not overloaded with fruit)
sets you up for less hunger, more consistent
energy levels, and fewer sugar cravings,
which makes it easier to make good food
choices throughout your day. We’re not
saying you can’t include some fruit with your
first meal, but just don’t make it the star of
the show.
