120 It is not for the inhabitants ofMedina and the Desert-Arabsaround them to stay behind theMessenger of Allah, nor to preferthemselves to him. That is becausethey never suffer any thirst, norfatigue, nor hunger in the cause ofAllah, nor do they take one step thatenrages the disbelievers, nor dothey gain anything from an enemy, but it is recorded to their credit as arighteous deed. Allah does notwaste the reward of the righteous.
