النور 24 The LightAllah provides for whomever He willswithout reckoning.وَ ٣٩

وَ ۗ ۥ ف

ٱلل

ْ
ٱل
39 As for those who disbelieve, theirworks are like a mirage in a desert.The thirsty assumes it is to be water.Until, when he has reached it, hefinds it to be nothing, but there hefinds Allah, Who settles his accountin full. Allah is swift in reckoning.ن ٤٠

ضٍ إ بَعْ

ا ۗ وهَىٰ يَ رَ

د
َ
يَ كمْ

ل

عَ ل يَ جْ مْ

ل

ه

ٱلل
ُ
ه
َ
ۥ ل
ُ
ه
َ
ا لمَ

و ر ً ا ف

ور

ن نمِ
40 Or like utter darkness in a vastocean, covered by waves, abovewhich are waves, above which isfog. Darkness upon darkness. If hebrings out his hand, he will hardlysee it. He to whom Allah has notgranted a light has no light.٤١

وَ ۗ ۥ توَ

ه

ٱلل

ون

عَ ل

ا يَ فمَ
ِ
ب
ۢ
ٌ
يمِعَ ل
41 Do you not realize that Allah isglorified by whatever is in theheavens and the earth, and even bythe birds in formation? Each knowsits prayer and its manner of praise.Allah knows well what they do.كُ ٤٢

42 To Allah belongs the dominion ofthe heavens and the earth, and toAllah is the ultimate return.٤٣

بُ بهَ

ٱلأ
43 Have you not seen how Allahpropels the clouds, then brings themtogether, then piles them into aheap, and you see rain dropsemerging from its midst? How Hebrings down loads of hail from thesky, striking with it whomever Hewills, and diverting it from whomeverHe wills? The flash of its lighteningalmost snatches the sight away.ُب ٤٤

44 Allah alternates the night and theday. In that is a lesson for those whohave insight.٤٥

45 Allah created every living creaturefrom water. Some of them crawl ontheir bellies, and some walk on two
