EXERCISE OBJECTIVE
When you have completed this exercise, you will be able to vary circuit voltage by using
potentiometers with different tapers. You will verify your results with a multimeter.
EXERCISE DISCUSSION
- A potentiometer has three terminals and develops a voltage between the wiper and either one
of its ends. - A potentiometer supplies a specified variable voltage.
- When a load is connected to the wiper of a potentiometer, the amount of available voltage is
affected.
