  1. On the top-right corner, click the Create Power View Report icon to launch
    PowerView, as shown in Figure 59-7.

  1. Power View opens as a blank canvas.

  2. Click inside the title area. Type a title, for example, Picnic Items Analysis.

  3. From the fi eld list on the right, expand Quantities.

  4. Drag the measure named Sum of Qty Consumed 2 to the left side of the Power View
    layout section. The Sum of Qty Consumed 2 measure displays as a table.

  5. From the fi eld list on the right, expand Date and drag MonthName next to the Sum
    of Qty Consumed 2 measure inside the same table. Make sure MonthName is placed
    inside the same table and not on a separate table.

  6. Click Column under the Design menu option of the Table Tools. The table changes to
    a Column Chart.

  7. Move the chart to the right. Expand the chart so that it occupies approximately 3/4
    of the layout section’s width below the title, as shown in Figure 59-8.

  8. From the fi eld list on the right, expand Items, and drag Category Drawing outside
    and to the left of the Column Chart.
