think one of the things that I’my careers is to take a systemsve learned in both of -level view of things,
to always ... try not to think of issues and programs in isolation. So I’m like a strategic planner; I’m
always looking for the connections and I’m always looking for the lessons learned from past
organizations. What I’m doing right now, I’m doing a study ... the balance between Federal
workforce and contracting workforce. That kind of analysis really requires not just a look at the
numbers, the budgets and all that sort of stuff, bualso taking a look at the skill sets of the contractors t
and the Feds organizations, you know, so I think I’ve evolved in – but also comparability between like
on the EI kind of spectrum.
Researcher: so in thinking about how EI’s changed over the course of your career, does it go back to the
lessons you’ve learned and the things you’ve seen about the bullying, consequences of not having
strong EI and embedding those lessons in terms of your own style?

the tsome career SES who I really admired. And I asked hings that I did was that I modeled myself after
them to become my mentor ... and they did. These
