- If there is stasis of Blood (pain in the joints and Purple tongue) add Chi Shao Radix
Paeoniae rubrae, Tao Ren Semen Persicae and Hong Hua Flos Carthami tinctorii. - If Damp-Heat is retained for a long time it easily injures Kidney-Yin and this leads to a
complicated situation of Fullness (Damp-Heat) and Emptiness (Kidney-Yin deficiency).
In this case use a variation of Zhi Bo Di Huang Wan
Anemarrhena-Phellodendron-Rehmannia Pill.
Invasion of Cold-Dampness

back, weakness, flaccidity and coldness of the limbs.
Tongue: Pale, white-sticky coating.
Pulse: Slippery and Deep.

Pishu, ST-36 Zusanli, Du-4 Mingmen. The first three points should be reduced to resolve
Dampness, ST-8 should be needled with even method and all the others should be reinforced to
strengthen Stomach and Spleen to resolve Dampness. Moxa should be used.
