Clinical Manifestations


Scanty-dark urine with fresh blood, mental restlessness, thirst, insomnia, red face, tongue ulcers,
bitter taste.


Tongue: Red with redder tip, yellow coating with red spots on the root.


Pulse: Rapid, slightly Overflowing, Wiry on the left Rear position.


This consists in Bladder-Heat deriving from Small-Intestine Heat and Heart-Fire.


Treatment Principle


Clear Heat from the Bladder and Small Intestine, drain Heart-Fire, calm the Mind, cool Blood
and stop bleeding.

General Prescription


HE-8 Shaofu, S.I.-2 Qiangu, BL-66 Tonggu, Ren-3 Zhongji, BL-28 Pangguangshu, L.I.-11
Quchi, SP-10 Xuehai, BL-63 Jinmen. Reducing method.


Explanation



  • He-8 drains Heart-Fire.

  • S.I.-2 clears Small Intestine Heat.

  • BL-66 clears Bladder-Heat.

  • Ren-3 and BL-28, Front-Collecting and Back-Transporting points of the Bladder
    respectively, clear Bladder-Heat.

  • L.I.-11 and SP-10 cool Blood and stop bleeding.
