Explanation


This is the typical formula to resolve Phlegm-Heat in the Lungs at the Qi Level in the course of a
febrile disease.



  • Nan Xing, Gua Lou and Ban Xia resolve Phlegm.

  • Huang Qin clears Lung-Heat.

  • Zhi Shi and Xing Ren restore the descending of Lung-Heat.

  • Chen Pi and Fu Ling assist the other herbs to resolve Phlegm.
