Explanation

This pill, which has already been explained under acute cough from Phlegm-Heat, may be used
also for a chronic cough from the same cause.

This pill deals only with the Manifestation (Phlegm-Heat) and not the Root which is Spleen-Qi
deficiency.

The tongue presentation appropriate to this remedy is a Red body with a sticky-yellow coating.
