- Huo Xiang, Bai Dou Kou, and Hou Po fragrantly resolve Dampness. Huo Xiang also
releases the Exterior and, for this reason, this prescription is also suited in invasions of
exterior Dampness. - Fu Ling, Zhu Ling, Yi Yi Ren and Ze Xie drain Dampness.
- Ban Xia helps to drain Dampness by resolving Phlegm.
- Dan Dou Chi clears Heat and stops irritability.
- Xing Ren helps to drain Dampness by making Lung-Qi descend (and therefore move
fluids downwards towards the Bladder and Kidneys).
