- ST-28 and ST-29 clear heat and promote the bowel movements.

Zhi Shi Fructus Citri aurantii immaturus 12 g
Explanation
- Da Huang drains Fire by moving downwards. It is the main herb for Fire in the Stomach
corresponding to either the Organ pattern of the Bright-Yang pattern (within the 6
Stages) or the Intestines-Dry-Heat pattern at Qi level (within the 4 Levels). - Mang Xiao helps Da Huang to move downwards.
- Hou Po relieves fullness and regulates Qi.
- Zhi Shi makes Qi descend and therefore helps the first two herbs to move downwards. It
also relieves abdominal distension and pain.
