  • To enhance this formula's moving Qi action add Xiang Fu Rhizoma Cyperi rotundi, Wu
    Yao Radix Linderae strychnifoliae and Xiao Hui Xiang Fructus Foeniculi vulgaris.

  • If there is Blood stasis add Hong Hua Flos Carthami tinctorii, Tao Ren Semen Persicae
    and Niu Xi Radix Achyranthis bidentatae seu Cyathulae.

Explanation


This formula, which has already been explained in Chapter 1, is for Painful-Urination Syndrome
from deficiency and sinking of Qi. It raises clear Qi and makes turbid Qi descend and, by so
doing, it separates clear and turbid in the urinary system and relieves Painful-Urination
Syndrome.
