- If bleeding is profuse add Qian Cao Gen Radix Rubiae cordifoliae.
- If there are signs of Blood stasis add Hong Hua Flos Carthami tinctorii and Tao Ren
Semen Persicae.
Patent Remedies
Qian Lie Xian Wan
(Prostate Gland Pill)
Explanation
This pill, already mentioned above, drains Damp-Heat and moves Blood. Because of this latter
function, it can be used to treat Blood Painful-Urination Syndrome of the Full type, i.e. from
Blood-Heat with stasis of Blood.
The tongue presentation appropriate to this remedy, in connection with this condition, is a
Reddish-Purple body with a yellow coating and red spots on the root.

Explanation
This remedy, which moves Blood and stops bleeding, can be used, in conjunction with others, to
treat the Manifestation of Blood Painful-Urination Syndrome, i.e. blood in the urine.
