General Prescription


BL-23 Shenshu, Du-4 Mingmen, KI-7 Fuliu, Ren-6 Qihai, Ren-4 Guanyuan, Du-20 Baihui,
BL-28 Pangguangshu, BL-53 Baohuang, BL-32 Ciliao, SP-6 Sanyinjiao, HE-7 Shenmen and
Yintang. Reinforcing method and moxa on all points except HE-7 and Yintang which should be
needled with even method.


Explanation



  • BL-23, Du-4, KI-7 and Ren-4 (with moxa) strengthen Kidney-Yang.

  • Ren-6 tonifies Qi in general.

  • Du-20 raises Qi.

  • BL-28 and BL-53 tonify the Bladder.

  • BL-32 strengthens the Bladder function and also has some general tonic properties.

  • SP-6 tonifies the Kidneys.

  • HE-7 and Yintang are used for enuresis in children to calm the Mind. This is necessary
    as children with enuresis nearly always suffer from an underlying fear and insecurity.
