Long Dan Cao Radix Gentianae scabrae 6 g

Huang Qin Radix Scutellariae baicalensis 9 g

Shan Zhi Zi Fructus Gardeniae jasminoidis 9 g

Ze Xie Rhizoma Alismatis orientalis 9 g

Mu Tong Caulis Akebiae 9 g

Che Qian Zi Semen Plantaginis 9 g

Sheng Di Huang Radix Rehmanniae glutinosae 12 g

Dang Gui Radix Angelicae sinensis 9 g

Chai Hu Radix Bupleuri 9 g

Explanation

This formula, which has already been explained in Chapter 1 and 10 , drains Liver-Fire.

Patent Remedy

Long Dan Xie Gan Wan and Jin Suo Gu Jing Wan
(Gentiana Draining the Liver Pill and Golden Lock Consolidating the Essence Pill)

Explanation

The first remedy, the ingredients of which are the same as the prescription above, drains
Liver-Fire; the second one, the ingredients of which have already been listed in this chapter,
absorbs leakages. The two together can be used to treat enuresis or incontinence from Liver-Fire.
