Next, have the group come together as a whole to review these drafts, test assumptions,
develop refinements, and seek synergies.
Final drafts can then be prepared by a subgroup. However, the final version of these
statements should have full group consensus.
Note that this process is ongoing, particularly with respect to action-level statements.
You’ll find that, with practice, workgroups become more efficient at developing meaningful
and motivational directional statements.
