October 2021, aged 91, in the Grand View
Care Home, Stamford. Devoted husband of
the late Eileen; father, grandfather, great-
grandfather and brother; former chairman
of East Midlands Gas. Lately of Bourne,
previously of Rothley. Funeral on Monday
15th November in Bourne Abbey Church at

    graduate of Selwyn College, Cambridge,
    teacher of spies, phenomenal polyglot and
    inspirational teacher at Bradford Grammar
    School. Fought for peace in Europe. May he
    never be forgotten.

Much-loved husband of Greta, loving

MANN Floyd Mary died peacefully on
20th October 2021. Previously of
Westbourne, West Sussex. Much-loved
mother and grandmother. Private family

Old Stoic, Royal Hussars passed away with
his devoted wife, Carla, by his side. A
valiant fight bravely born. Funeral at

MOCKETT John Vere Brooke died
peacefully on 21st October 2021, aged 94.
John had a distinguished career after
graduating from Oxford, he joined Gray’s
Inn as a barrister and then circuit judge.
John is survived by his children, Caroline
and Timothy, and seven grandchildren and
will be much missed by all including Diane
Sloma with whom he happily shared his
latter years. Funeral service Putney Vale
Crematorium on November 15th at 3.15pm.

Michael died after a very short illness in
hospital from aspiration pneumonia. A
