Blinded By the Light - The Occult of Roman Catholicism

(Sean Pound) #1

Also according to Roman teaching it is by partaking of the Eucharist that the
heart is changed towards being like Christ.

ìÖit is in the sacraments, especially in the Eucharist, that
Christ Jesus works in fullness for the transformation of
men.î 8

This too contradicts scripture. It is by abiding in Christ (allowing Him to be Lord
of your life) and the renewing Power of the Holy Spirit that transforms man.

ìAbide in me (Christ), and I (will abide) in you.î John 15:4

ìTherefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old

things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.î

2 Corinthians 5:17

ìNow the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is,

there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass

the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from

glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.î

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

ìBut after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward

man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have

done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of

regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.î Titus 3:4-5

The Council also declared:

ìÖ[the Eucharist is] the source and summit of the Christian
life. For the most holy Eucharist contains the Church's
entire spiritual wealth.î 9

Does the Roman Catholic Church actually believe that the magic wafer is to be
worshipped as God?
