SYSTEM WINNER

CORSAIR ONE A 200

Another year and another Corsair One clinches the only
spot on our system list for Gear of the Year. The A 200 is an
updated variant on this now prodigal lineup and features
some of the latest and greatest hardware, including an
RTX 3080, AMD Ryzen 9 59 00X, 32GB of DDR4, and 3 TB of
storage too (1TB M.2 PCIe 3 .0 SSD, 2TB HDD).
Originally developed as a single fan, convection design
chassis, there have been some additional fans installed
(notably for GPU chipsets), but apart from that, the cooling
and noise potency of this thing is just awesome.
There’s one caveat to all this though, and that’s the price.
Even in a GPU-starved world, splashing out $3,800 for a
super-small ITX PC seems, well, excessive.

HEADSETWINNER

CORSAIR VIRTUOSO

RGB WIRELESS XT

Another win for Corsair with its Virtuoso RGB Wireless
XT headset, which is, without a doubt, the best gaming
headset around. With impressive neodymium dynamic
drivers packing in a frequency response of 20 -40,000Hz,
with a sensitivity clocking in a -42dBV, and aptX Bluetooth
and Dolby Atmos support, the noise produced by these
crisp cans is second to none in the industry, at least as so
far as we’ve seen at this price point anyway.
Wireless by design, the XT also supports a myriad
of other standards and can be wired up using an analog
3.5mm cable, connected via USB-A, USB-C, or through
Bluetooth, as well as the slipstream 2.4GHz
dongle too. Battery life clocks in at a mighty
15 hours, or longer if you run it without
RGB. It also packs in a removable mic,
so when you aren’t gaming it acts as a pair
of pretty neat lifestyle headphones.
